At the Allison Inquiry, Marylou Lavalle describes a promise she made to her husband during his five days in the ICU: to be his voice. She says that for five years she felt silenced and alone, "trying to connect the dots." During questioning, she recounts that a neurologist initially raised the possibility of AstraZeneca, then, along with two other physicians, stepped back from that position. She says the hematologist did flag the case as a reportable adverse event. When she kept asking questions, she says the response she received was that her husband "had bad luck." She also mentions her daughter developing severe, lasting headaches within two days of vaccination, and her own health issues following her second dose.
