James Freeland says his mother, 60 years old with type 2 diabetes, died two days after receiving a COVID-19 vaccine. He says he asked a doctor what she died of and requested an autopsy — and that both requests were refused. He says he received her ashes in under 24 hours, which he describes as unlike anything he has experienced with other family members. He says he has been unable to speak about any of this — not with friends, not with family — and that when he tried to access compensation programs, he was told there was no evidence and no doctor willing to sign documentation. His mother’s ashes remain in his home. He says he cannot bring himself to bury them.
